These days we all seem to live busy, and at times hectic lives. We often grab food on the go that may not best serve us, we stay up late trying to get everything done, and it's all too easy to find an excuse not to exercise. Sound familiar?


I take a multi-dimensional approach to health and wellbeing to help overcome these barriers. Nutrition is the foundation of my treatment in clinic but it is not a stand-alone approach. Achieving optimal health requires us to address every area that affects our total wellbeing including physical activity, sleep and stress.


Everyone is at different places on their health journey. I offer a range of services including nutritional consultations, genetic profiling, and personal training sessions so you can choose your area of focus. Let me support you to piece together your complete health picture, allowing you to be the best version of yourself, fitting in with your preferences and lifestyle. 


I understand the challenges of balancing life and your health, as I have overcome my own struggles too. I'm a Type 1 diabetic, have coeliac disease, reactive arthritis and PCOS, so I am passionate about health and wellbeing, and understanding the importance of taking control of your health. 


I have a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Nutrition and Bachelor of Physical Education majoring in Exercise Prescription from the University of Otago. I am a Registered Clinical Nutritionist (Clinical Nutrition Association), Registered Sports Nutritionist (Sports Nutrition Association) Registered Exercise Professional (REPs), accredited G.E.M.M Practitioner, and a certified Fitgenes Practitioner. So you can trust you are in good hands!


I'm a keen sportsperson, having spent many seasons on the netball court and playing a variety of sports including athletics, basketball, rugby and rowing. I have over 10 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry (from Personal Training, Sport Southland Active Lifestyles Coordinator and Southern DHB Healthy Eating Healthy Action (HEHA) Manager).


With my personal experiences and the scientific knowledge I thrive to understand, I believe I have the tools to enhance you from within. My aim is to enable you to live your best life, moving towards natural vitality and healthy longevity.


I am based in Oamaru and work from a range of locations including my home office, the Oamaru Rowing Club gym, and Movement Hub. I can also take online consults for those who aren't local.
